University and school students are always welcome at Yogawest, and because money can be tight, we want to make it easier for you to come to classes regularly. Students qualify for our concession prices for drop-ins and Yogacards which is usually around a 20% saving, however we are currently offering two ways of making big savings:
1. Termtime Saturday afternoons 4–5.15pm
Luhia Shakti teaches the Saturday afternoon termtime (see dates here) class at Yogawest. This is a beginner level class, suitable for newcomers or those who have some experience of Yoga.
Luhia is one of our younger teachers, and studied at the University in 2018.
Luhia is keen to encourage Bristol University, UWE, College and 6th form students to come to this Saturday class at Yogawest. So we’re offering this class at a very special student rate of only £5 for those in education.
Note: If you are a student you also qualify for concession rates for all other classes at Yogawest.
How to Book
Note: when there is an event running at Yogawest, numbers will be capped for this class. When this happens there will be a note on the online timetable recommending you arrive in good time to secure your place.
How to Qualify for the £5 Class
Show proof of your student status at reception to come to this class for just £5. Student Union cards, University, School or College ID all acceptable.
2. Foundation Course
If you are new to Yoga, you might choose to complete a 5-week foundation course. Designed to teach you the basics of a safe practice; the course prepares you to go to any beginner or general class on the timetable.
You can do this alongside the Saturday class if you wish.
Yogawest offers students a special concessionary rate for the foundation course £15 for the 5 week course. Course details here
