Annette returns to Yogawest to teach a summer afternoon workshop on Sunday July 15th, 2–5pm
Annette taught at Yogawest for many years before leaving to live and teach in Austria.
During this afternoon workshop, Annette will reconnect with her Yogawest students and make new connections with those she hasn’t yet met, sharing with them how her teaching has developed in the years since she left Bristol.
Following her systematic approach – and Patanjali’s advice for sequencing – Annette will focus on linking asanas of different categories to bring about their similarities and characteristics.
All are welcome.
12 months+ of regular Iyengar practice recommended.
Annette used to be a regular student at Yogawest for many years, before she started her teacher training with Gerry and Lynda at Yogawest in 2003. Once qualified, she taught at Yogawest until 2013 when she and her husband moved to Austria. She now lives in a little market town in the southern part of the Alps close to Italy where she runs her own Iyengar Yoga Studio. While it is sometimes difficult to find Iyengar Yoga teachers nearby, Annette has, under the guidance of her dog Jola, become a kind of expert in dog-pose!
Fondly remembered by her Saturday morning students as a compassionate, intelligent teacher, we expect Annette’s return to Yogawest to be popular.
