Yoga Holiday Goa, Feb 2020

Come join Indira and Diana in India!

Yoga holiday with Diana Penny and Indira Lopez-Bassols

Diana and Indira have taught holidays together for many years. We are delighted to announce we have secured another week at Ashiyana, a beautiful yoga resort in Goa, India and are very much looking forward to our second trip here.

Ashiyana is a gorgeous resort, and is well suited for singles, couples and groups of friends as the rooms offer different layouts. Non-yoga partners are encouraged: there is plenty to explore in Goa with beautiful beaches, historic colonial Portuguese buildings, amazing food markets and early morning/late afternoon walks. See below for non-yoga partner discount.

Dates 9–16 February 2020

One of 3 yoga shalas at Ashiyana

Ashiyana is a fully equipped yoga retreat (it has ropes!), and most teachers re-book the same week year after year: we are extremely lucky to have secured this return booking (it’s not who you know, it’s who Indira knows!).

We are putting together the costs now, and expect to publish these in January 2019. They are likely to start at around £850.

You will need to book your own flights to India, transfers to/from the resort, plus arrange visas, travel insurance etc as extras. We expect many of you will want to take advantage of being in India and arrive early or stay afterwards to explore (see ‘Tips and Recommendations‘ below).

Please ask us if you have any questions about this holiday.

Ashiyana has Ayurvedic treatment rooms on site.

Tips and Recommendations

TIP 1
Book your flight early: we recommend shopping around to find the best deal, which may be direct to Goa (Thomas Cook fly direct from Gatwick and Manchester), or might be via Mumbai which will give you more flexibility.

TIP 2
Extend your stay before or after and explore India.

TIP 3
Bring your partner: there will be other non-yogis around for adventures during the day, paddle-boarding, temple visiting and general exploring of the area.

TIP 4
You will need to get an Indian visa before travel, which you can now buy online. Be sure you are on the official site as other 3rd party sites exist and will charge you more. NB You will need at least 180 days validity on your passport.
