Many thank to all of you who donated to the IYDF fund last week. We are just totalling it up, and will let you know how much we raised.
What did I miss?
BKS Iyengar was 93 years old on 14th December.To mark his birthday, the Iyengar Yoga Association (IYA), to which all our teachers are members, are taking donations for the Iyengar Yoga Development Fund (IYDF). This fund supports teachers in the UK who work with vulnerable members of our community: people with learning difficulties, deaf students, prisoners, children not coping in school, carers etc.
Yogawest is donating the money we earned on Wednesday 14th and we also had a donations box at reception for any of our students who wanted to contribute to this very good cause.
