The marvellous José María Vigar is coming to Yogawest next week, arriving on Friday 27th to teach a specialist day for experienced practitioners, and then teaching a general workshop over the weekend.
The weekend event is suitable for those of you with at least 6 months of experience and will be an unmissable 2 days. If you haven’t been to a workshop before, then this is a good one to try. It’s not like doing a day-long class: a workshop is an environment in which to explore particular yoga asanas more thoroughly, with plenty of rest time along the way. (And you could always just book Saturday if this is your first workshop.)
José will focus on the importance of the legs and pelvis in your practice and this exploration will improve your understanding of your own yoga. He will explore a range of asanas in order to broaden your knowledge of the correct actions within poses.
When José came last time in 2013 (see photos here) we had visitors to Yogawest from all over Europe and the weekend was brilliant. This time, we really want more of our own Yogawest students to be there: that’s the reason we’ve invited him!
